Terms and Conditions

Age Restrictions:

When placing your order you are confirming that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are purchasing wine as a gift or on behalf of someone else then the recipient must also be over 18.

Delivery:

We can deliver wine throughout UK mainland via courier.

All deliveries will require proof of age (over 18) for the delivery to be made.

Deliveries are made Monday - Friday 8-5pm, excluding Bank holidays
Next day delivery is available on orders placed before 2pm on weekdays for Monday - Friday delivery only (except on bank holidays). For prices please call our team on 01845 526777.

Standard Delivery charges are £10.00 per case.

If you place your order online but collect in person we will give you 5% discount off your order. (this applies only to full price wines and not to special offers).

Where possible we aim to dispatch orders on the same or the following day.

If wine is delivered broken or spoiled, please notify the courier on receipt and advise Playford Ros within 48 hours of delivery. Failure to do so will mean we are unable to guarantee credit or replacements.

Payments:

All of our prices include Vat and are quoted in pounds sterling. All prices shown are per bottle. Delivery charges are extra.

We accept Mastercard, Switch, Delta, Visa and Maestro.

General:

We reserve the right to change our list prices, all current prices are shown on the website.

If by mistake we have under priced any wine, as long as we notify you within 2 working days and before goods are dispatched we are not liable to providing the goods.

The vintages may alter from those shown and are subject to availability.

All prices are correct at the time the website was published.

Although we try to ensure all out of stock wines are shown, if your order contains an out of stock wine we will contact you before dispatching your order to advise either a suitable alternative or details of when the wine will be available again.

If we have been unable to contact you within 48 hours we will automatically send an alternative wine (to the same or higher value).

All wines remain the property of Playford Ros/House of Townend until we receive full payment.

Cancellation

You have the right to cancel your order up to seven days after receipt of your goods. The order must be cancelled in writing. The goods will need to be returned to Playford Ros at your expense, upon contacting us we will notify you of the authorised collection company.

Once the goods have been returned, provided they are in good condition a full refund (minus the delivery and collection charges) will be made.

If the authorised courier cannot make the collection as the goods are not made available, this will mean you will incur any costs that apply.
